Quick Fitness Marketing Tips

The fitness business is getting bigger and bigger these days, whether the market is getting more health conscious, or just playing to their vanity, people are way more interested in their physical fitness more now than ever. Here are some things that you should be focusing on to steer your fitness marketing business in the right direction.

We all have goals for our businesses. A mission statement as some people would say. Get in the habit of keeping those goals in plain sight each day. Devote the first five minutes of each day to reviewing those goals and making sure that they’re up to date. Achieve one, mark it off, come up with a new one, add it to your list. It’s much easier to achieve all your goals if you keep them in sight.

Everyone likes to get something for nothing, and positive word of mouth/feedback is one of the best ways to get your business out there like a shining star. Any time block that you don’t have filled with paying customers, should be filled with free training sessions, or guest passes to your gym(depending on what type of fitness business you own) Not only will the word get out there about how much better your business is than the next guys, but you have the potential to convert those freebies into paying clients. Free advertising, and new paying clients! What a concept!

Of course you have a website by now. Make sure that the pages in your site are loaded with your main keywords, placed so that they have a natural flow in the content. Also make sure that the keywords are found somewhere in the titles (at least your top three)

Once you have that all set up, make sure that you have links set up to get to those pages through other site related pages on the internet. Make sure though that it all makes sense. It makes no sense to link from a site in Florida, when you’re in Michigan!

Pictures speak louder than words, so make sure that you have a lot of before and after photos of clients on your site. I could tell you all day long that if you go through my program, you’ll lose pounds in weeks and turn fat into muscle quicker than anything you’ve ever seen before, but lets face it, most people have a “I’ll believe it when I see it” attitude. Beat them to the chase by having those photos and testimonials right out in the open for all to see.

Online classifieds, such as Craigslist are a great tool to use these days. Load up ads daily, methodically with simple and catching headlines, before and after photos, and links to your website.

I’m sure that you have seen those great motivational sales books, or how to better yourself and pump you up hardcore novels; normally you’d just walk right by them, but have you ever thought about actually picking one up and reading it? Give it a try. There are some really great social and marketing skills that you can pick up from reading these.

Have a flow to your business, and do your best to not break it. Everything has a system, as should your business. Take a close look at everything that needs to be done each day, list it all out and figure the most time efficient way to get all these things done each day. This is now your daily system. Learn it, implement it, live it.

Save yourself some money. Indians and early settlers used the barter system for years, believe it or not; it does work. Say you have a client who is looking for a part time job after school, think about switching things up a little in situations like this. Offer to trade, your services for theirs. Rather than hiring an assistant to run your errands, trade free membership for the part time student’s errand running. This kills two birds with one stone.
